The 11th Annual Juried Summer Art Show will be held July 17-19, 2009
at the Little Compton Community Center. This show is free and open to the public. All artwork is for sale with a portion of the profits benefiting the Little Compton Community Center.

The show is a juried show, open to any living artist who wishes to enter. Oil, watercolor, drawing, sculpture, acrylic, pastel, mixed media and hand-pulled prints are eligible for entry. Interested artists should see below for an application.

The entry fee is $15 per entry with a limit of 2 entries per artist. All submitted art must zbe priced and available for sale.

There will be a “Best in Show”, four “Awards of Excellence” and three “Honorable Mentions” awarded on Opening Night.

“The Warm Heart of Africa”
A Photographic Exhibit and Silent Auction,
to benefit the Jenphar Mandala Fund.

This is a one day exhibit,
reception and silent auction fundraiser.
Held at the Little Compton Community Center



The Little Compton Community Center is pleased to present “The Warm Heart of Africa” an exhibition of photographs created by photographic portrait artist Serena Parente Charelebois of Serena’s Studio,
Little Compton, Rhode Island.

The exhibition will run from August 21, 2009 to August 23, 2009 at Little Compton Community Center.
Serena provided the following comments about her exhibit. “While spending a month in Malawi, Africa with my sister and her family, I found my attitude and outlook on life had been profoundly changed, by the people and most especially the children that I encountered there.”
