Incorporated in 1992 by a group of volunteers, the Little Compton Community Center Corporation successfully raised $350,000 to save the town’s 100 year old Grange building from destruction. Renovations began in 1996, and in May 1997, Little Compton’s first and only Community Center opened to the public. The demand for the Community Center’s programs and services quickly exceeded most optimistic expectations. Within months, our organization had transformed from an empty building into a bustling center of activity, operating an average of 10 hours a day serving children and adults every month.
Our Mission: To provide recreational, educational, social and cultural programming for the enrichment of the Little Compton community.
